Oreo Brownies ♡

I was browsing through Pinterest the other day when I came across a picture of the nicest looking brownies, it wasn't until I pinned it that I realised they had Oreos in! They looked amazing so I had to have a try at making some. The recipe on Pinterest was in American and used a box of pre - made brownie mixture, So I adapted it to English, found an easy normal brownie recipe and had a go! Thought I would share the recipe because they are easy to make&taste so nice! perfect for a weekend treat..

what you'll need:

400g caster sugar
225g butter, melted
60g cocoa powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
4 eggs
225g plain flour
1/2  tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 packs of oreos

1. Preheat the oven to gas mark 4. Put the caster sugar in a large bowl and mix in the butter. Then mix in the cocoa powder and vanilla extract.

2. Beat the eggs together in a separate bowl. Add the plain flour and eggs to the large bowl a little at a time and mix well, this will help the mixture not to curdle.

3. Then stir in the baking powder and salt.

4. Grease a large baking dish and pour half of the brownie mixture into the baking dish.

5.Layer with oreos, Then top with the remaining mixture.

6. Bake for 40-50 minutes. Cool and slice into equal squares.

Enjoy :)
